Faces of Dyslexia - Gary Wissell Donate Fundraise QUESTION MARK By Gary The way I think and express myself can be a puzzle to those around me, even though I know what I'm trying to say. Gary lives just outside metropolitan Melbourne where he has built his family home on a beautiful rural block of land. Gary identifies as having dyslexia which he discovered at the age of 64. Two of his children and one grandson also have dyslexia. Gary enjoys designing and creating. He works with a wide variety of materials and loves to create alternative art pieces. A builder by trade, Gary’s expertise is seen in the structures he builds, in his creative design and use of colour and materials. His passion lies in collecting old materials and reusing them to create something new, he has collected numerous items over the years which he incorporates in building or art projects. Gary is at his happiest when tinkering in his shed, restoring his old cars or splashing paint on a canvas to create something out of the norm. Aged 65, he is looking forward to soon having more time to build and create and do the things he loves.
