‘I’m five’

I have been a full-time painter since 1965 and work in all mediums and ephemeral sculptural works. 

My portrait is the 1^st self-portrait I have made, it was completed 1 year ago. 

But I have always said I’m 5 when asked. Because I like ice cream. 

The reason I call myself 5 is someone asked me how old I was and as I was 5 at the time, I said 5, and they said well, you will have to have ice cream then. 

So, I told my friend if you say your 5 you will get ice cream. 

For my 80^th birthday, I sent a picture of myself as I was when I was 5.
